Black Ice is a 2003 Harley-Davidson® custom Softail® with a “Resto-Mod” concept. We wanted to keep the style and look of the bike but have it highly customized. The idea was to make people look twice: just enough but not too much. We kept the Willie G Skull accessories and the 100th-anniversary badges throughout the motorcycle to keep the era’s spirit. The early 2000s was the black anniversary of Softails with Willie G accessories; they were all the rage back then. The engine was built from the Crank Pin out: balanced/trued/welded, h-beam, Timkin, big bore, CNC heads, cams, pump, plate, etc. A boost-ready engine (hint hint).
The modified frame of this Harley-Davidson® custom Softail® was done in-house on our frame jig. The rear fender was modified to accommodate the “lay-frame” air system. The swing arm was custom-built in-house to round out the chassis mods. Everything on the drive train was powder coated and diamond cut, along with the brakes, calipers, and wheels.
